How to Save the Earth Just By Staying At Home

How can someone save the Earth just by staying at home? This tutorial is not the usual ’save electricity’ or maybe ‘increase efficiency of something blah blah’, but this is suitable for those escpecially housewives and actually anyone. Today, I am teaching you how to make a garbage enzyme on your own. You might wonder what’s exactly garbage enzyme, but don’t worry, I am going to tell you along the step-by-step teaching.

First, you need to prepare some of the ingredients needed to make a garbage enzyme. You will need some rotten ( or fresh if you think you’ve too many ) fruits and vegetables (or any kitchen waste), brown sugar, water (mineral or distilled) and a bottle (or can). For this tutorial, I would use unripe papayas and some lemons. After preparing the ingredients, cut the fruits (or veges) into small cubes and slices. Before you insert them into the bottle prepared, weigh the fruits and veges you have cut. The readings you obtained will be used to calculate the amount of sugar needed. For instance, if you have around of 600 grams of fruits and veges, then put the same amount of sugar inside the bottle. It will be a 1:3 ratio for sugar to the fruits and veges.

But, before you insert the fruit and veges, pour the brown sugar into the bottle. This is because you have to dissolve the sugar in water first. Just like before, if you have 200 grams of sugar, then you will need 2000 c.c. (ml), i.e. 2 litre of water. After almost all the sugar has dissolved, now only you insert all your fruit and veges inside. Notice that the water required is not actually very much is because the fruit and veges you used initially has water content within. So, when you soak them into the sugar water, the water inside will automatically secretes out.

After everything is done, seal the bottle with a cellophone tape just anything you think you can make it airtight. Also remember to label your bottle with the date you sealed it. Keep the sealed bottle within a dark place for a month or how long you would like. The longer the time you store it, the better the result will be.

How would this garbage enzyme help to save the Earth? After a long time you have stored the garbage enzyme, gas will be formed inside the bottle due to the fermentation of the fruits and veges. By the time you unseal the bottle, this gas will be released and actually cleanses and purifies the air. The gas released will help to recover the ozone layer and lower the global temperature and hence solving the global warming issue. After filtering all the residues, what left is known as the garbage enzyme. As for the garbage enzyme, you can use it for anything you want. You can use it as detergent, household cleaner, body soap, car care and many more else. Someone even flush the toilet along with the garbage enzyme and get better results than using the commercial toilet cleaner. As for the residues, you can use it as a fertiliser for plants or recycle it by putting it together with the other kitchen waste for the next garbage enzyme production. A better way to use this is to blend it and then dry it. After that, you can spread it around your garden or perhaps bury it in the soil.

Making garbage enzyme is that simple. Not only helping yourself, you are doing it for the sake to save our mother Earth. Let’s start it now! Let’s turn waste and garbage into something to save the world.

(Disclaimer : Please be noted that the owner of the blog is not responsible for any or circumstances caused due to the article. Please do it at your own responsibility.)

If you notice that there’s spore or something unusual starts to grow in the bottle, it means that the enzyme has been contaminated and no longer can be used. Please do not try to drink the garbage enzyme you have made. ( Even I don’t know what it tastes like. )

But in the end, we are just trying to help to save the environment and the Earth.

Happy Saving Earth !
